The Golden Residence Apartment Hotel overlooks the largest beach in Madeira (approximately 2 km), Praia Formosa, the natural rock pools of Doca do Cavacas and some of the many banana plantations you will find in Madeira.
In front of the premises, the Promenade is a lovely seaside pedestrian avenue lined with all the beautiful plants and flowers Madeira is famous for; a wonderful botanical display in bloom all year round. It joins the Lido area of Funchal and the fishing village of Câmara de Lobos, a lovely and picturesque town made famous by Sir Winston Churchill, who used to paint its harbour whilst visiting Madeira.

The Golden Flavour Restaurant caters for those guests who would rather not use the cooking facilities in the apartments. Besides a well-assorted buffet with Regional and International cuisine, our guests can enjoy special and wholesome food and balanced vegetarian dishes à la carte; the chef will prepare special diets, by previous request.
